Comments
You can add comments or notes to the canvas by clicking Create Comment or Create Note. Comments and notes are attached to the canvas, movable, and connectable to any object by dragging their connector.
Features
- Create: Add comments or notes via the action toolbar.
- Move: Drag comments/notes anywhere on the canvas.
- Connect: Drag the connector to link comments/notes to objects.
- Customize: Change type and color by clicking on comments.
- ️ Settings: Adjust preferences in the comment settings menu.
- Delete: Remove comments/notes with the delete button.
💡 Tip: Use comments to highlight key insights, add context, or collaborate with your team directly on the visualization!
Settings
Customize comment preferences in the settings menu for each visualization. To open, right-click the comment button in the action toolbar and select Settings.

Preferences
- Default comment type: Select the default type for new comments.
- Default line type: Choose between step or curved lines.
- Default comment color: Set the color for comments.
- Default tx comment color: Set the color for transaction comments.
- Default symbol: Choose a symbol for transaction comments.
Types
- Comment: Add general notes.
- Address: Add address comments.
- Entity: Add entity comments.
- Transaction: Add transaction comments.
- Image: Add images to the canvas.
Address, Entity, and Transaction comments match the design of their respective canvas objects.
Line types
- Step: Step line connector.
- Curved: Curved line connector.
Colors
- Select colors for comments and transaction comments.
Symbol
- Choose a symbol for transaction comments.
Quick Type Select
Double-click the comment button in the action toolbar to quickly select the comment type for creation.

Modals
For address, entity, and transaction comments, click the comment to open the respective modal and edit its data.
Lines
You can edit lines for comments by right-clicking them. Change line type, color, and arrow. Select Custom type for merged mode lines with auto-built arrows and views based on input fields.

Users can use comments for various purposes, such as:
- Annotating addresses, entities, or transactions with extra context.
- Highlighting important nodes or connections.
- Adding data for unsupported blockchains.
- Adding images to explain complex relationships or include external data.
